With decades of combined experience, Drs. Lissa Alconcel, and Charles Fischer have inspired the confidence and admiration of their peers and patients nationally and in their home state of Colorado. In addition to being named a Top Dentist by 5280 Magazine, Dr. Alconcel also contributes to the community by providing dental care to seniors in long-term care facilities.

Lissa Alconcel, DDS

Dr. Lissa Alconcel provides patients with comprehensive dental care so they can enjoy continued well-being. She believes personalized care allows for comfortable and individualized dental treatment plans.

 

Dr. Alconcel is a proud Colorado native who attended Colorado State University for a bachelor’s degree in finance and a master’s degree in toxicology. She graduated from the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine where she was the president of the American Association of Women Dentists as well as the national representative of the Christian Medical and Dental Association®. Dr. Alconcel’s commitment to education includes staying up to date on recent advancements in dentistry and being a member of multiple study organizations.

 

At Colorado State University, Dr. Alconcel competed as an NCAA Division I swimmer for the CSU Rams. After graduation, she continued to train as a triathlete and has competed in three Ironman Triathlons. In addition, she is a certified emergency medical technician (EMT) and works part-time providing dental care to seniors in long-term care facilities. Dr. Alconcel and her husband, Brandon, have three children, Owen, Brooke, and Ryan, a boxer/lab mix named Izzy and a Boston terrier named Kali. They enjoy Colorado outdoors, CSU football games, swimming, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

Charles Fischer, DDS

Dr. Charles Fischer is a Colorado native. He graduated from the University of Colorado School of Dentistry and has enjoyed practicing as a leader in his field for over 40 years. Involved with several local, state, national, and honorary dental organizations, he has served in the areas of peer review, program development, and postdoctoral education. Dr. Fischer attends numerous postgraduate courses throughout the year. He has taught throughout the U.S., Canada, and England. His profession recognizes him as an authority on restorative dentistry and occlusion. He has been selected in the Best Dentists of America and Top 5280 Dentists in Restorative Dentistry continually since its inception in 2004.

 

Dr. Fischer enjoys traveling with his wife, Lynn, and spending time with his family and five grandchildren and five grand dogs. In his free time, Dr. Fischer enjoys videography, photography, golf, and competitive masters swimming. He has competed in many national competitions and in the World Masters Championships, where he placed in the top five for his age group in several events. “My rewards in both my professional and personal life come from the quality of the relationships I have with my family, my friends, my work colleagues, and the patients I have the opportunity and honor to serve.”

Monique who is one of the dental hygentists

Monique, RDH, OMT

Monique is a Colorado native and has been in dentistry since 2006. She started off as a dental assistant in general dentistry and has also worked in pediatrics. She then chose to continue her education and became a registered dental hygienist. Continuing education is one of Monique’s passions as she is constantly striving to learn even more about how she can best help our patients. Monique is a certified Orofacial Myofunctional Therapist, a member of the Colorado Dental Hygiene Association and American Academy of Oral Systemic Health.

 

Monique is a mom of three and married to a teacher and swim coach. She and her family love their three dogs and the outdoors, spending a lot of their time in the mountains skiing or hiking when there isn’t a swim meet!

Shannon, Lead Dental Assistant

Shannon started in the dental field as an assistant in 2004. She has a great deal of passion for her career, and her “why” is that she loves of helping people find full health. This is through their dental care and the trust that is built between her, the team, and our patients, as well as watching people’s confidence be restored through dentistry.

 

She loves hiking, traveling, trying new foods and restaurants, watching and reading crime stories, and spending time with her daughter and her dog.
